Free, family-friendly, interactive displays and hands-on activities to share learning about how Marlborough, as a whole town, can be more water-savvy and more resilient to flood and drought.
This event draws on the real stories of local people and the learning from a months-long research project centred on the River Kennet.
Come and find out how water moves through this unique chalky local landscape, from rainclouds to rivers. Discover the vital roles of healthy soil and vegetation as our climate shifts towards warmer, wetter winters and hotter, drier springs and summers.
See 3D models of where our rivers and bournes start and flow to.
Write your own ‘love letter to the river’.
Get involved in making Marlborough more resilient to flood and drought in the near future.
