This is the home of Marlborough Community Orchard, Marlborough’s Community Fridge and Garden, The Bee Roadzz and our longstanding permaculture group.

We are part of the now global Transition Network – a movement of communities working together to address and live well with the ecological, climate and societal challenges of our times. 

Now in our 15th year, we can look back and draw on our solid experience of community energy, a community market, our permaculture introduction courses, and myriad of campaigns around clean air, plastic pollution, fracking, public transport and more. 

We know we can’t make all the change that is needed on our own. So we are now evolving into an community asset that holds a constitution, a bank account, insurances and policies to support more people in our community to make their own life-enhancing projects come to life.   

From disruption of climate, water and nutrient cycles; to pollutions and destructions of wild habitats and species, to social injustice and inequalities, we are in a time of enormous challenge, change and possible tipping points – for better or worse. These times need us all to step up and do what we can. 

Alongside our own projects, we want to help you get started with your own too.
