Permaculture Group

Marlborough Permaculture Group is a friendly group of people who are interested in developing our skills and knowledge of permaculture. Our meetings are very informal and are a mix of talks by members or external speakers, visits and practical projects which are often in one another’s gardens. We also regularly swap surplus seeds and plants.

Last year we were mostly confined to zoom meetings with members leading discussions on Permaculture beyond the Garden Gate, Wilding Yourself, biodiversity on the Jones Mill Wildlife Reserve and an introduction to local rain gardens. For 2021 we are planning visits to a community garden and an agro-forestry project, to tour local rain gardens, a garden design project and talks on social permaculture and preserving produce.

We usually meet on the first Saturday of the month at 10 am and welcome new members. In December we are having an At Home and we welcome ideas for meetings in 2022. All meetings are subject to any Covid-19 guidance in place at that time. If you are interested in joining us please contact debss@transitionmarlborough.org.
